Contest Terms & Conditions

ELIGIBILITY: The Flowers & Weeds Wedding Contest (the “Contest”) is open to legal residents of the contiguous United States plus the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of the last day of the Application Period (defined below). This Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local

laws and regulations apply.

AGREEMENT TO CONTEST RULES AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Participation in the Contest constitutes the full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of the Flowers & Weeds Wedding Contest Rules and Terms and Conditions by each member of an entering couple (each, an “Entrant”) and the decisions of Glendarragh Farm Lavender, which are final and binding. Winning the opportunity to get married at Glendarragh is contingent upon fulfilling and adhering to all Contest Rules and Terms and Conditions.

APPLICATION PERIOD: The Application Period begins at 12:00am ET on December 1, 2025 and ends at 11:59 pm ET on February 1, 2026. Entries that are submitted before or after the Application Period will not be considered.

HOW TO ENTER: Entrants must complete the application at https://mainelavender.com/pages/flowers-weeds-contest for entry into the Contest. By completing the application, Entrants warrant that they own the rights to any and all materials submitted.

PUBLIC VOTING PERIOD: The Public Voting Period begins at 12:00am ET on February 14, 2026 and ends at 11:59 pm ET on March 14, 2026. Each individual may vote once per week for the duration of the voting period for a total of up to four votes. Votes that are submitted before or after the application will not be counted.

SELECTION OF WINNERS: Glendarragh Farm Lavender will select a group of finalists from the entries submitted by February 1, 2026. There is no cap on the number of finalists; selection will be made on the basis of the quality of Entrants’ video and photo submissions and their compatibility with Glendarragh Farm Lavender’s marketing objectives, as determined by Glendarragh Farm Lavender in its sole and absolute discretion. From the group of finalists, four Entrant couples will be selected to win the opportunity to hold their wedding at Glendarragh Farm during 2026 (the “Prize”) via a vote, which will be a combination of the popular vote from the Public Voting Period and votes from a panel of local judges to be selected and organized by Glendarragh Farm Lavender. The Entrant couples receiving the four highest totals of votes cast by the public and the judges will be declared the Winners. The Winners will be publicly announced on Glendarragh Farm Lavender’s social media channels on or about March 20, 2026 (the “Selection Date”).

PRIZE EXPLANATION: Winners will receive the opportunity to hold their wedding at Glendarragh Farm Lavender at no charge in exchange for garden work done at the farm by the Winners, specifically two eight-hour days of labor by each member of the winning couple on dates to be mutually determined by the Winners and Glendarragh Farm Lavender but in no event later than October 31, 2026. Entrant understands and agrees that he or she will not be paid for such labor and shall receive no consideration therefore other than the opportunity to participate in the Contest. Prize-related expenses, including without limitation all costs and expenses of the Winners’ wedding, shall be the sole responsibility of the Winners.

PRIZE NOTIFICATION AND FULFILLMENT: Winners will be contacted by Glendarragh Farm Lavender on or about the Selection Date and will be required to respond to

such message within seventy-two (72) hours of notification attempt. In the event that any Winner fails to respond within such 72-hour period, and/or is otherwise determined to be ineligible in accordance with these Contest Rules, the Prize may be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate Winner as deemed appropriate by Glendarragh Farm Lavender. Each Winner will notify Glendarragh Farm Lavender of their desired wedding date and two alternate dates as soon as possible after selection and in any event not less than sixty days before the earliest desired date. Glendarragh Farm Lavender will confirm the Winner’s wedding date as soon as practicable and shall make commercially reasonable efforts to honor the requested date or alternate date. If more than one Winner requests the same date, priority will be given to the Winner whose application received the most total votes from the public and the judges. Details of the Winners’ wedding plans will be discussed and worked out between Winner and Glendarragh Farm Lavender. In the absence of a different agreement, Winner will have access to Glendarragh Farm beginning at noon on the day before the wedding and ending at 5 PM on the day after the wedding.

INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering, each Entrant agrees to defend, indemnify and otherwise hold Glendarragh Farm Lavender harmless from and against any and all liability of any nature whatsoever arising out of or relating to the Contest, the selection of Winners, or the Prize, including without limitation (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest by or directed by Entrant; (b) breaches of or inaccuracies in any representations or warranties of, or license grants by, Entrant or any other terms and conditions contained herein; and/or (c) injury, death, or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Entrant’s participation in the Contest, including while fulfilling the work requirements of the Contest, or receipt or use of the Prize, including any such injury, death or damage occurring in connection with a Winner’s actual wedding.

By entering this Contest, each Entrant (1) agrees to release Glendarragh Farm Lavender from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, costs, and/or expenses, including without limitation property damages, personal injury and/or death, arising out of or in any way connected with participating in this Contest or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the Prize, (2) waives any and all claims against Glendarragh Farm Lavender based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, or any other intellectual property or privacy right, and (3) acknowledges that Glendarragh Farm Lavender has not made or is not responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to Contest or the Prize, including but not limited to its merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Glendarragh Farm Lavender shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever related to or arising from (a) any technical errors that may prevent any Entrant from participating in any way; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; and/or (c) errors in the administration of the Contest. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages, arising out of or in any way connected with the Contest, the Prize, the Contest Rules or these Terms and Conditions. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, Glendarragh Farm Lavender’s liability for all claims will be limited to Entrant’s cost of entering and participating in the Contest, and in no event shall Glendarragh Farm Lavender be liable for attorneys' fees.

MEDIA RELEASE: By entering this Contest, each Entrant hereby grants Glendarragh Farm Lavender and its employees, affiliates, contractors and representatives a non-exclusive and non-revocable commercial right to reproduce and/or modify all images submitted to Glendarragh Farm Lavender as part of an application in any form (including, but not limited to, video, internet posting, reproduction, display, email, publication, and distribution), throughout the world in any medium now known or later developed and without restriction or limitation. Each Entrant agrees that such images may be used by Glendarragh Farm Lavender either alone or in conjunction with sketches, cartoons, captions, films, art work, textural matter or other photographs. Each Entrant agrees that Glendarragh Farm Lavender is not obligated to give credit to Entrant for such images, and that permission to use such images is not contingent upon any such credit being given.

Each Entrant waives any right to inspect and/or approve the finished work incorporating the images or the advertising copy or other text that may be used in connection therewith or the use for which said finished work may be applied. Further, each Entrant waives any claims to royalties with regards to the images supplied  or any finished work.

Each Entrant agrees that if any provision, or any portion of any provision, contained in this paragraph is determined to be invalid under any statute or rule of law, then it shall, to that extent alone, be deemed omitted, and the remainder of this paragraph shall remain in full force and effect.

DISPUTES: Except where prohibited by law, each Entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or the Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the County of Knox, State of Maine. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Contest Rules, Entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Glendarragh Farm Lavender in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Maine without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of Maine or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Maine.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, Glendarragh Farm Lavender may, in its sole discretion and at any time, (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then, at Glendarragh Farm Lavender’s sole discretion, resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Contest Rules, (b) award the Prize from among the eligible Entries received up to the time of the impairment, and/or c) terminate the Contest. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Glendarragh Farm Lavender reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure or delay by Glendarragh Farm Lavender to enforce any provision of these Contest Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
